Kick Start Package
A ministry must first ascertain program space requirements, financial affordability and specific project goals. Tools, such as a color rendering, fly-around and master site plan, are needed to raise money. The purpose of these tools is to maintain unity among the members as well as to instill a sense of ownership in the project. A sense of proprietorship motivates members to give financially. Without the proper graphics to cast the vision into the hearts and minds of the church members, the action from the leadership is futile. A successful capital campaign is the result of writing “the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he [they] may run that readeth it” (Habakkuk 2:2)
Most building plans 80% to be exact, end up on hold soon after design, with only a schematic drawing hanging on the wall in the foyer or sanctuary. The obvious reason for this is to raise money, and because we are visual people we need to see it before we invest in it. However, some churches make a big mistake by asking an architect to draw something so they have a basic floor plan to show the congregation. This never ends well. You must have enough of the design that captures your vision and an accurate estimate so members can know the financial goal. Anything less is doing everyone an injustice.
The Kick-start Package gives churches exactly what they need to raise money successfully. It includes a Program Planning report and a Design/Master site plan. The church can slow down and raise money confidently knowing its congregation is investing in exactly what they need and it is within their budget. This package enables a church to give as little as possible of its ministry money to get building plans moving forward with the financial and prayer support of the congregation. It shows the congregation that the leadership is doing due diligence as they move respectfully forward.
